I just can't stop thinking about how much Carlito had going for him before this senseless tragedy struck. I've heard from mutual friends what an incredible knack he had for fixing cars—something he got from hanging out in his grandparents' garage, I suppose. People would say that if you were having car trouble, Carlito was your guy. It's incredibly sad that his son, Cryan, will grow up without experiencing his dad's fun-loving spirit and incredible talent firsthand. I hope the community rallies around this little boy to remind him of what an amazing person his father was. Sending so much love and strength to Carlito's family and friends during this devastating time.
Hey everyone,
I've been really affected by Carlito's story lately, especially thinking about the kind of person he seemed to be. From what I've gathered, Carlito was a guy with a real talent for fixing up old cars. I can't help but imagine how much joy and satisfaction he must've found in bringing new life to those vehicles. It's more than a hobby; it's like preserving history and sharing stories through the machines he worked on.
And then there's the human story behind it. Spending his early years with his grandparents must've been special. I love the idea of "Onnie" and "Paw-Paw" being these pivotal figures in his life. It really just speaks to the kind of warm environment he grew up in.
I can't help but feel for his son, Cryan, who won't get the chance to learn all those little mechanical tricks from his dad. It's tough knowing how much this little boy will miss out on, the future father-son bonding they could've had working side by side on a new project car.
In all of this, I just hope that the people who loved Carlito find some peace and keep those positive memories alive. And for little Cryan, let's hope he learns a lot about his dad through the stories of those who knew and loved him.
Stay safe, everyone.
I wanted to touch on an aspect that might not be getting as much attention in this tragic case—Carlito's love for rollerblading and how it connected him with the community. It's clear from everything I've read that he had such a vibrant spirit and loved sharing his passions with others. It's absolutely devastating that his life was cut short in such a senseless act of violence. My heart goes out to Gabi, Cryan, and everyone who knew him. I can't help but think about how Gabi will have to navigate this world without Carlito and how Cryan won't get to grow up with his dad. It's so important for the community to come together to support them and keep honoring Carlito's memory, maybe even organizing a memorial skate event in his name. That would be such a beautiful tribute to someone who obviously brought so much joy to those around him through his love of rollerblading.
