I was just reading about Charles Marshall Ransom III's case, and I can't help but feel for his fiancée, Ronniesha Kearney, and their young son. It's hard to imagine the pain and loss they must be experiencing right now. Charles seemed like such a compassionate and driven person, described as always wanting to uplift others. It's touching to see how his memory is being honored by those who knew him, but also a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of life. We really need more dialogue in our communities about addressing gun violence and finding ways to prevent these tragedies from taking promising lives too soon. My thoughts are with Charles's family and friends as they seek justice for him and navigate this incredibly difficult time.
