I’ve been digging into Clare Christie’s case, and I stumbled upon something that's been tugging at my mind. Has anyone else looked into the significance of her being memorialized on the Fisherman’s Memorial despite the lingering doubts about her case? It's supposed to honor those who were lost at sea, but what if that was never the true story? The memorial seems like it adds weight to the official narrative, almost like it solidifies the idea of her being lost at sea in the public's mind. But what if Ernest pulled some strings to ensure her name went up there, diverting attention from any other possible foul play? Could it have been his way of closing the book on any investigation? I can't shake the feeling that the memorial might play a larger role in maintaining the facade of her disappearance being an accident. It's more than just a name on a wall when you consider what we've learned about Ernest’s later criminal activities. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Clare Louise Christie case and wanted to share something that struck me as odd. I was going through some old news clippings and found out that Clare’s name was added to the Fisherman’s Memorial in Humboldt County. Now, I get that it’s meant to honor those lost at sea, but the whole situation feels off. There’s no solid proof she was ever on that boat, right? Considering her husband’s background and everything that came out later about him, it just feels strange to have such a definitive memorial for someone whose disappearance was so murky. Do you think her name being on the memorial was more about giving the community closure, or could it have been a way to cement the idea that she was definitely lost at sea? I mean, with no real evidence, putting her name there seems like it might have influenced people to stop questioning what really happened. Just curious to see what others think about this aspect of the case. ?
