I’ve been following the El Paso Walmart shooting case and I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact on the younger generation, especially Sara Esther Regalado Moriel’s grandchildren. It hurts to think about how they have to grow up now with such an immense loss. It’s one thing for adults to try and grapple with the senseless violence, but for kids, it's a whole different story. I read that Sara Esther’s family has been receiving a lot of community support, which is heartening. I hope they know that there are so many people rooting for them and sending love their way. The way Juarez and El Paso have come together shows an incredible strength. Does anyone know if there are any ongoing support groups specifically for young kids who were affected by the shooting? I feel like connecting with others who have experienced similar traumas could be helpful for them.

Has anyone else been following the lawsuits brought by the families of the victims in the El Paso Walmart shooting? I read about Sara Esther Regalado Moriel and her husband Adolfo, and it's just so devastating that they were simply visiting and ended up in such a tragic situation. I can't even begin to imagine the pain their daughters and grandchildren are experiencing. It absolutely baffles me that this young man, Patrick Crusius, could carry so much hatred to commit such an awful act. I'm glad to see the families fighting for justice, but it's a tough road. Holding large corporations accountable for security measures isn't easy, and I'm sure it's incredibly draining for them. Sending love and strength to all the families affected by this tragedy. Hopefully, the legal actions will bring some sense of closure, or at least help prevent future incidents like this. Anyone have more insights or updates on how those proceedings are going?
