Rochelle's story continues to weigh heavily on my mind, especially when I think about her little daughter, Isabella, who now has to grow up without her mom. It's tough not to feel for her and the entire Salazar family as they work through this unimaginable loss. I keep wondering about the justice systems' role in preventing these situations. From what‘s been shared, Billy Warford had a past felony charge. It makes me question if there were missed opportunities to intervene before things spiraled out of control. We need better measures in place that can identify and help at-risk families before tragedy strikes. It’s a cruel twist of fate for Rochelle, her family, and, most importantly, Isabella. I'm hoping for some form of justice or resolution that gives the family even the slightest bit of peace.
