I've been following the tragic case of Vincent Smith, and my thoughts are with his family and everyone who knew him. Something that's been gnawing at me is how this all spiraled from an argument over an animal control violation. It’s utterly baffling to think of a situation escalating to such a devastating point. Maintenance workers like Vincent often find themselves in the middle of disputes they shouldn't have to handle, especially when they just want to do their job and keep things running smoothly for everyone.
