I was reading about Dion Perlaza’s case and can’t stop thinking about how eerie the timing of it all is. It just seems so chilling that they were attacked right after leaving an after-hours club, with plans to go to another. It makes me wonder if the shooter was someone who had followed them from the club. Could it have been someone they ran into earlier that night without even realizing they were a target?
I really feel for Dion's family and friends. They deserve answers and closure, and it breaks my heart to know they’re still waiting for justice. The fact that three others in the car were unharmed is both a relief and a mystery. Did the shooter specifically target Dion and Ryan for some reason, or was it just a random act of violence?
It must be so incredibly frustrating for Dion's family, especially with such little information to go on. I truly hope that someone out there with information comes forward. Keeping them in my thoughts.
I was thinking about the three other people in the car with Dion and Ryan that night. It must be incredibly traumatic for them, surviving such a harrowing event. I wonder if HPD has been able to get any helpful information from them? It seems so suspicious that there was no prior conflict or known motive. Completely random acts of violence are frightening, and knowing the uncertainty those witnesses must feel—being so close to the attack without answers—must be really difficult.
My heart truly goes out to Dion's loved ones. I've been following some of the posts about him and it sounds like he was very much loved and cherished, and the idea that his life was unexpectedly cut short is unsettling. I hope someone comes forward with some information so that there can be some closure and peace for Dion's family and friends.
I can't get Dion Perlaza's case out of my mind. It's been nearly four years, and we're still no closer to answers or justice for Dion and his loved ones. I was reading more about it recently, and I found myself wondering about the time and location it happened. A shooting at 4:15 in the morning on the Southwest Freeway seems so brazen. Were there witnesses that saw anything suspicious or heard something? It's infuriating that someone out there knows what happened and is keeping quiet.
My heart goes out to Dion's family and friends who have to navigate each day without him. It's gut-wrenching to think about the future he was robbed of. Dion’s family has shown incredible strength and resolve throughout this ordeal, and I sincerely hope that someone steps up to provide the missing piece they need to crack this case wide open. Let's keep talking about Dion and urging anyone with information to come forward. Justice must be served.
