Hi everyone,
I’ve been following Jasmine Newman’s case, and I can't stop thinking about how this beautiful young woman’s life was cut short in such senseless violence, just a day before her 23rd birthday. It's truly devastating for her family and friends, and my heart goes out to them, especially her two young children who are left to grow up without their mother.
What really stands out to me is the role her mom, Jermel Newman, plays in all this. I saw some interviews with her where she talks about the pain of losing Jasmine. She’s been so steadfast and courageous in her fight for justice. I can't imagine how tough it must be, yet she continues to channel her grief into action, keeping Jasmine’s name alive and getting the community engaged.
It’s so important for us, as a community, to keep supporting the Newman family in any way possible. Cases like these are tough to crack, and they go cold so quickly without new leads. If you have any information, no matter how small it might seem, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Even sharing Jasmine's story on social media keeps the case in the public eye, reminding everyone how important it is to find justice for her family.
Sending all my thoughts to Jasmine’s loved ones and hoping that someday soon, they get the closure they desperately need.
Take care, everyone.
I'm really struck by how strong Jasmine Newman's mom, Jermel, has been throughout all of this. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be for her to keep fighting for answers while dealing with such a profound loss. Her determination is honestly inspiring. It's such a clear reminder of how much Jasmine was loved and how deeply her absence is felt every day. The fact that the community has been there to support them gives me hope that justice will eventually prevail. I truly hope someone out there knows something and finds the courage to come forward. Jasmine and her family deserve that much.
