Hey all, I've been reading through the threads and wanted to discuss something that stood out to me about Raymond Ybarbo's case. It's just so incredibly sad to think about the ripple effect his death has had on everyone who knew him. I can't even imagine how his family is coping, and I really admire their strength during such an unimaginably difficult time. Something worth mentioning is the neighborhood where it happened, Schley Street. I’ve heard from a local friend that, although there are good people there, it's struggled with crime for a while. It makes me wonder whether community initiatives or better policing might have made a difference in preventing this tragedy. I hope Raymond's case encourages some positive change in the area, even if it's in his memory. It's just a reminder that these neighborhoods need more support and resources. It would be great to hear if anyone from Houston has insight into how the community is reacting or any steps being taken to help prevent future incidents. Stay safe, everyone. And to Raymond's family, if they're reading, I hope justice brings some peace.
