Hey everyone, I've been following the Matthew Mason case, and one thing that's been on my mind is the role of self-defense in this situation. I've read that the shooter and Matthew had a confrontation on the shooter's property. It's got me wondering about Texas laws regarding self-defense and property protection. Does anyone have insight into how these might apply in this case? It’s so difficult knowing a life was lost, and I can’t begin to imagine what Matthew's family is going through as they wait for answers.
