I've been following Keshun Riggins' case, and I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on his grandmother, Janice Bluntson. Losing a grandchild is unimaginable, especially under such violent circumstances. It's clear she did her best to provide a stable environment for Keshun, but you can only do so much when outside influences are this intense. It's deeply troubling that the community seems to be trapped in a cycle of drug-related violence. I think we need more resources aimed at breaking this cycle—maybe more youth programs or community support to steer young people away from dangerous paths. Whatever the solution, the community deserves better, and families like the Bluntsons shouldn't have to suffer in silence. I hope the authorities can make headway soon and bring some sense of justice and peace for everyone involved.
