I came across Joangel "JoJo" Ortegon's case and couldn't help but feel for his loved ones. Reading about how he was planning a trip to Hawaii with his girlfriend, Lahisa, is just so tragic. It makes me think about all those moments they must have shared while dreaming about their future together. JoJo sounded like such a vibrant young man with a bright future ahead. Knowing he worked at Conn’s Furniture, I can imagine he was someone who had figured out a path for himself, aiming for something bigger. The fact that his life was cut short due to a senseless act of violence breaks my heart. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time. I find myself wondering how his girlfriend is coping with such a devastating loss. It’s unimaginable to lose someone you love so unexpectedly. I truly hope justice is served and those involved are held accountable for their actions.
