I still can't wrap my head around the Logan family tragedy. It's so difficult to understand how someone like Richard, who seemed so dedicated to helping others, could commit such a horrific act. Aaron was just a child with his whole life ahead of him, and from what I’ve read, he was really bright and loved by his classmates. My heart just aches for his friends and the entire Campbell Elementary community. You can only imagine how hard it must be for them to process this loss, especially when it involves such a close-knit family that was well-regarded in Sugar Land. The entire Attack Poverty team must be dealing with an enormous amount of grief as well, losing both their leader and a family's future. It's hard to find any sense in it all, and I hope ongoing investigations might provide some answers, or at least allow those grieving to find a sliver of peace. Bless the family and friends navigating through this immense sorrow.

I can't stop thinking about Aaron's classmates at Campbell Elementary. I can't even begin to imagine the confusion and pain those kids must be feeling right now. At 11, these kids are so young and innocent; they're not equipped to process such a terrible loss. I hope the school is providing counseling and support to help the children try to make sense of this. It's crucial that they have a safe space to talk about their feelings and remember Aaron as the bright, young soul that he was. My heart goes out to all the parents who have to explain this tragedy to their own children—what a terrifying and difficult conversation to have.
