Hey, everyone. I’ve been thinking a lot about Webster George Jr.'s case and one thing that intrigues me is the role, or lack thereof, that the Fort Hall Tribal Police may have played over all these years. Given his connections to the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes, you'd think this might have triggered more attention or specific resources to be dedicated to his case, but it seems like not much progress has been made.
Does anyone have insights into how cases like Webster’s are typically handled within Tribal police jurisdictions? Is it possible there were jurisdictional issues with local law enforcement that could have slowed things down? It's frustrating to think how these aspects might have impacted the investigation at the time. Every little detail could matter in a case this cold, and understanding the interplay between Tribal and local police might help us piece together where things may have gone astray. Let's discuss any similar experiences or knowledge you might have!
