Is anyone else here a bit shaken by how quickly the jury reached a verdict in the Edwards case? Only 14 minutes! I've followed quite a few trials, and this one just seemed so cut and dry to them. It feels like it really speaks to the strength and clarity of the evidence against him. It's just so hard to wrap my head around the fact that Rickey could go from being someone trusted enough to start a new chapter with Portia to committing such a horrific act. My heart goes out to their family. I can't imagine the pain of losing both a mother and brother like that.
