Has anyone else wondered about the steel pin in Carl Wing's ankle? It seems like such a distinctive feature that could really help ID him if any remains are found. Given that it's been so long and technology has advanced, I'm curious if there are any modern methods to track or locate implants like that now. Maybe something like this could bring some new hope to his case, especially since the boat didn't provide many clues. What do you all think? Could this be an avenue worth exploring further with today's tech?

Hello everyone, I recently stumbled across the case of Carl Wing, and I can't help but be intrigued by the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. Something I found noteworthy is the boat being discovered without Carl on it. It makes me wonder about the scenario. Could it be possible that his boat was tampered with, or did he fall overboard accidentally? I feel like there's something about the Lake Erie area at that time that might hold clues. Has anyone looked into the weather conditions or if there were any unusual activities reported around that date in 1983? It's a long shot, but if Carl had that steel pin in his ankle, surely someone might have found something by now. Would love to hear any theories or information others have come across.
