Does anyone else find the anonymous phone calls in Roland Dean Anderson’s case super intriguing? It seems pretty rare that both his ex-wife and mother received messages like that. I'm thinking the woman who made those calls might have been connected to whoever was involved. Maybe she felt guilty or wanted to stir the pot? If she’s still out there, or if someone else knows who she is, it could be the key to finally figuring out what happened to him. I wonder if law enforcement ever followed that lead thoroughly. Anyone have thoughts or insights into how tips like these are handled in cold cases?
What has always intrigued me about Roland Dean Anderson's disappearance is those eerie phone messages his ex-wife and mom received. It's strange that someone would go through the trouble of calling them just to imply that Deannie had been killed. Was it a cruel prank, or was there some truth to it? You'd think that would have been a strong lead, but it seems like nothing came from it. Who was that woman, and why hasn't she been identified? Makes me wonder if she was part of the local scene and if she knew more than she let on. If anyone has theories about these calls, I'd love to hear them!
Does anyone else find those phone messages super suspicious? I mean, how often does something like that happen? Who was this unidentified woman calling Roland's mom and his ex-wife, and why hasn't anyone come forward to identify her yet? It seems like the messages are a key piece of this puzzle. Was she trying to intimidate the family or maybe give them a clue? Given the time that's passed, I hope someone out there still remembers this or has any info to share. Keeping my fingers crossed that the right person sees this post and comes forward. It's time his family got some answers.
