Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Antoine Norman, and I keep thinking about how his friends and family described him as "Lil Tee." It made me realize how much more real and personal these stories become when you learn about the human side behind the headlines. From everything I've read, it sounds like Antoine was a positive force in the lives of those around him. It's especially tough knowing he was just starting out his adult life at 18.
I know the community is still grappling with getting to the bottom of what happened that day. It's frustrating to see another young life lost with no clear motive or arrests. It really highlights the challenges that St. Louis faces when it comes to violence and crime. I feel deeply for his loved ones who keep his memory alive through memorials and lit candles. It’s such a poignant reminder of what's at stake when we talk about the need for change in community safety.
I hope the continuous advocacy for better safety measures resonates with those in power and sparks real change. Those who knew Antoine deserve justice, and all young people in St. Louis deserve to grow up in a safer community. Sending strength to all who are mourning Lil Tee.
Take care, everyone.
