Just thinking about the impact on Jose's family and how they must be feeling makes my heart ache. Losing someone so full of life and known for his kindness is devastating. I've been following the case, and while it's a small comfort that Hector Ledezma was quickly apprehended, it doesn’t change the loss. It’s hard not to feel overwhelmed by the senselessness of it all. Does anyone know if there are plans for a vigil or any community gatherings in his honor? I think coming together to remember Jose could help keep his spirit alive in some way. Sending love and strength to everyone affected.
