It’s hard to wrap my head around how Mr. Izaguirre and another man could be gunned down in broad daylight, and nobody has been held accountable yet. I’m not from Houston, but I used to live near Jensen Drive, and it hits close to home knowing incidents like this happen in a place that was once so familiar. My heart goes out to Mr. Izaguirre’s family during this tragic time. From what I understand, the location is pretty busy during the day. It’s baffling how there weren’t more witnesses. I wonder if anyone heard or saw something that could turn the tide on this case. Sometimes people are reluctant to talk to law enforcement, but maybe now's the time for even the small details to be shared with the police. Let’s hope the community steps up. Identifying the perpetrators won’t bring Mr. Izaguirre back, but it would be a start for his family and friends to find some closure.
