Hi everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the security failures at DD's Sky Bar on the night Jai'Lyn Bernard Page and the others were tragically shot. How did Williams and Hall manage to bypass security with firearms? It's baffling and really upsetting to think that this oversight possibly cost these young men their lives. I can’t imagine the pain their families feel knowing something so potentially preventable wasn’t prevented at all. Even though it's crucial to focus on the legal proceedings and justice being served, I'm also wishing for real changes in security protocols at such events. These are gatherings meant to celebrate talent and community, not venues of absolute chaos and loss. I hope the ongoing discussions and spotlight on such cases ultimately lead to more stringent measures and better-trained personnel. My heart goes out to the friends and families of all victims involved; I genuinely hope they find some form of peace and justice. Stay safe, everyone. Let's keep this conversation going and advocate for safer spaces!
