Has anyone else looked into the location where Roberto Orejel Blanco's car was found? Butano State Park seems like an odd place for it to be abandoned, given it's a bit of a drive from Santa Cruz. Was he known to visit that park, or was there maybe someone he knew in that area? It makes me wonder if he was meeting someone or if something happened to him somewhere else and the car was just left there to throw people off. It's been so long, but maybe someone with local knowledge could help connect the dots. There must be some clue out there that was overlooked.

Has anyone looked into whether Roberto Orejel Blanco might have had connections or ties to Butano State Park before his disappearance? The fact that his car was found there has always seemed odd to me, especially if he didn’t frequently visit or have any reason to be in that area. It’s a bit of a drive from Santa Cruz, and without public transportation options, it seems unlikely he'd just end up there without a specific reason. Could he have possibly been meeting someone there? Or maybe he was brought there by someone else? Just wondering if there's anything in the records about his possible activities or friendships that connect him to that location. Every little detail might help uncover what truly happened, even this many years later. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I just came across Roberto Orejel Blanco's case again and something that's been bugging me is why his car was found all the way out at Butano State Park. I mean, it’s not super close to Santa Cruz, so it makes me wonder if he went there himself for a specific reason, or if someone else drove it there to throw off investigators. Does anyone know if he had any history with that area? Like, did he maybe go there to hike or camp ever? There’s got to be a reason it ended up there, right? It just feels like such a critical piece of the puzzle. Any local folks know if anything was happening in that park around March 1985 that would connect him to the spot?
