Has anyone else been following the case of Roderick Shine? I came across his name on the National Gun Violence Memorial and was shocked to see it's still a mystery. I feel for his family—I can't imagine the pain of not having answers. I tried checking the Dallas County Criminal Background Search and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for more details, but it's like hitting a wall. Has anyone dug up anything from these databases or maybe reached out to local law enforcement to learn more? It seems strange that there hasn’t been much movement in the case, especially since it happened a few years back. Any insight or advice on other ways we could support his family in finding justice would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone looked into the location where Roderick Shine's memorial service was held on November 6, 2020? Eternal Rest Funeral Homes in DeSoto, Texas, organized the event, and a lot of people probably came to pay their respects. This might not seem relevant to some, but sometimes people connected to the case can show up at these services. It's a place where emotions run high, and acquaintances or even suspects might attend to maintain a cover or out of genuine remorse. If anyone was there or knows someone who attended, were there any odd interactions, or did anything so much as feel "off" during the gathering? I know this won't bring Roderick back, but it might raise some leads or give new perspectives on who might have been involved. We should also remember to respect the privacy of those who were mourning him during such a difficult time. My thoughts are with his family and everyone affected.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about Roderick Shine’s case, and something that stands out to me is the lack of updates or clarity on any suspects or arrests. It must be incredibly difficult for his family and friends to get closure without knowing what really happened. I've been digging around and noticed that public records, like those from the Dallas County Criminal Background Search, might have some helpful information. But it seems odd that there's no concrete information available yet.
Does anyone know if there were any media coverage or investigations that followed after his death? It's such a tragic incident, and I’d like to think there are people out there still looking for justice on his behalf. Maybe some of the local news archives could have snippets we haven’t come across yet? Appreciate any thoughts or info you guys might have.
