Has anyone here been following the Gordon Miklethun case? I know it’s a long shot given how much time has passed, but I was flipping through some old newspaper archives and noticed something interesting about the local events in Vegas around January 1986. There was a significant transport strike going on, which could have affected travel plans or communication. I wonder if this could have somehow played a role in making Gordon harder to locate. Has anyone else looked into this angle, or maybe local transportation records from that period? Sometimes the smallest detail could trigger a new lead!

Hey everyone, I recently came across the case of Gordon Miklethun while doing some digging into cold cases from the '80s. One thing that stood out to me was how technology has evolved since then. It makes me wonder if there's any chance that advancements in forensic science could eventually help solve cases like this one. Does anyone know if there were any physical evidence or personal belongings collected back in 1986? It seems like even the smallest piece of evidence could be re-examined with today’s technology. I feel like there's been a lot of success in other cold cases through things like DNA testing and genealogy that weren’t available back then. Maybe there are records of what was collected at the time of Gordon's disappearance, or if anything from his case has been preserved that could be analyzed now? Just a thought! Would love to hear if anyone else has insights or knows more about how older cases are being looked at with fresh eyes these days.

Has anyone looked into the possibility of Gordon Miklethun’s disappearance being connected to other cold cases from the same era in Las Vegas? I know resources were really limited back in the '80s, especially in such a bustling city, which might explain why some cases went cold. Maybe cross-referencing unsolved cases from around that time could reveal patterns or commonalities. I heard some departments have started taking a closer look at old files using digital databases that weren’t accessible back then. If investigators could identify any similar circumstances or even potential suspects from other cases, maybe it would help shed some light on what happened to Gordon. Thoughts or insights from anyone who's been following this or similar cases?
