Has anyone else been intrigued by the timeline regarding Victor Howard Gray's case? I recently noticed that his car was impounded in Santa Barbara on July 19, 1986, which is about three and a half months after he was last seen in Los Angeles. It's pretty odd, right? Santa Barbara is roughly 90 miles away from LA. What was his car doing there so long after he vanished? It makes me wonder if he had connections in that area or if someone else was using his vehicle during those months. If anyone has more insights or theories about this detail, I'd love to hear them.
It's always struck me as odd that Victor's car was found in Santa Barbara. For those not familiar, that's about 95 miles from Los Angeles, where he was last spotted. How did the car end up there without anyone noticing him? It's one of those details that feels like it should have given more direction to the investigation. Did he actually drive there himself or was it staged to throw off the scent?
Also, has anyone else wondered about the timeline? It was impounded over three months after he disappeared. What was happening during that period? It seems like a large gap when something should have been noticed. Was it parked in the same spot the whole time? Maybe there’s an overlooked tip in those early months. Would be curious to hear thoughts if anyone is familiar with the area!
