Has anyone here looked into the circumstances around Philip Letarte's disappearance from Woodland, Maine back in 1986? I find it so curious and troubling that there aren't more clues about his path after heading out to buy cigarettes. It strikes me how he was seen looking "feeble and confused" on Colby Siding Road the day after. Were there any known medical conditions that might account for this behavior, or maybe any info on what his state of mind was like from those who saw him last? Also, with the rural nature of where he disappeared, I wonder if it was easy for him to get disoriented and veer off somewhere. Missing Persons cases from decades ago can be so tough, right? It feels like there's always a piece of the puzzle just out of reach. Would love to hear more theories or if anyone’s familiar with the local geography or history that could shed light on Philip’s case.
