It's such a devastating loss for those who knew and loved Rolshawun Goff. I can't stop thinking about how holidays are supposed to be a time of joy and family closeness, yet this family's holiday will forever be marked by tragedy. It’s truly unsettling that an evening watching Christmas movies ended in such horror. One thing that really struck me was the swift action of the Paris Police Department. It's a small comfort to know that they responded quickly, finding the weapon and apprehending Green within minutes. Kudos to them for their efficiency, which hopefully brought some small sense of order amidst the chaos for the family left behind. But I can’t imagine the lasting impact on Goff’s little girl. Having been present for such a violent act and then losing her father so abruptly... it's just so difficult to comprehend what she'll have to overcome. I hope there's a strong support system for her, and that she’s surrounded by love and care to help her navigate the road ahead. Sending thoughts and prayers to the family during this incredibly difficult time.
