Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Sherrell Whittley, and something that's really been on my mind is how we often overlook the ripple effects such a devastating incident can have on a community, especially one as close-knit as Crowley. I've read that Sherrell attended Summer Creek Middle School, and it must be incredibly tough for the students and teachers there to cope with losing someone so young and vibrant. Schools are often like second homes for kids, and I can only imagine the shock and grief that must have hit everyone there. I hope that the school is providing support to both students and staff during this difficult time. Does anyone know if they've set up any memorials or support groups? It might really help to honor Sherrell's memory and give people a space to heal and remember her for the wonderful person she was.
