Was anyone else taken aback by how quickly Darius Smith reached out to law enforcement after the shooting? I mean, it's not uncommon for someone to flee the scene, especially after something so traumatic, but contacting the police himself? It almost feels like he was trying to shape the narrative right from the start, especially with his self-defense claim. It's deeply saddening for Kenneth Boyd's family to know that someone thought they could justify this tragedy in any way. Witness accounts are going to be critical here. From what I’ve read, they contradict Smith’s story, which makes me wonder if there's more to this confrontation than we're being told.
