I've been thinking about the detail that Bobby Dale Allen’s car was found abandoned on North Harbor Boulevard. It's such a major street in San Diego, and it makes me wonder if it was left there deliberately to make it look like he had gone AWOL, or if something happened to him nearby. Does anyone know if that area was monitored by any kind of surveillance back in 1986? Even if there wasn't, it might have been a busy area. Maybe someone saw something unusual that day? It's strange that such a bustling location wouldn’t yield more information or witnesses. Thoughts?
