Does anyone else find it odd that Westie’s legal issues weren’t explored more thoroughly at the time she disappeared? I mean, with theft and forgery charges laid against her, you’d think investigators would have really dug into any connections she might have had through those activities. Could it be possible that someone she crossed paths with during that time played a role in her vanishing? And what about that court warrant? I wonder if she could have been trying to avoid getting caught and then found herself in a more dangerous situation than she expected. It just feels like there might be more to unravel if the dots were connected between her legal troubles and her disappearance. Thoughts?
Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into Westie "West" Knauer’s case recently, and something that caught my attention is the delay in reporting her missing. Her mother didn't report her disappearance for two months - that’s quite a gap. I can't help but wonder what was going on during that time. Was her family trying to handle it on their own initially? Or did they believe she might resurface because of her legal issues? It's frustrating losing those crucial early days for investigation. Does anyone know if there were any documented sightings or if anyone came forward with info during those two months? Just seems like such a critical missing piece of the puzzle here. Any insights or thoughts?
Does anyone else find it odd about the delay in reporting Westie Leta Knauer missing? Two months seems like such a long time, especially for a close family member like her mother to wait before reaching out to authorities. Were there any specific reasons why the mom didn't act sooner, or was it just a matter of having no idea what was going on? I wonder if there were communication issues or maybe assumptions that West could have been dealing with her legal stuff and didn't want to be found. It's so sad to think about how crucial those early days can be in missing person cases and how this delay might have impacted the entire investigation. If anyone knows more or has theories, I'd love to hear them.
