Westie Leta Knauer, age 32, was last seen in North Portland, Oregon, on April 1, 1987. She was not reported missing until two months later by her mother, which delayed investigative efforts. Few details are available surrounding her disappearance. Knauer, nicknamed "West," stood 5'8" to 5'9" and weighed approximately 130 pounds at the time. She had blonde hair and brown eyes, and had previously sustained fractures to her ribs and right hip, with pins implanted in her right leg.
