Has anyone else looked into that old bottle detail? I keep thinking about the supposed skin in the bottle that the informant talked about. It sounds so grisly, but could something like that actually hold up as evidence after all these years? Was it ever analyzed or found by the police? I can’t imagine how a detail like this wouldn’t lead to more answers. Also, it’s odd that there’s never any follow-up on whether that informant’s story was corroborated in any other way. It seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle, yet it feels like it just faded into the background over time. Would love to hear others’ thoughts or any updates on that angle if anyone has come across them!
Does anyone else find it odd how the guy with the criminal background seems to have just vanished too? I mean, if he was supposedly responsible for Patrick’s disappearance, you'd think he would've been more prominent on law enforcement's radar. It's not like he had a clean record. I wonder if he skipped town before things caught up to him or if someone else took care of loose ends for him. Really makes you speculate how deep this might actually go. I suppose a lot has changed since 1987, but still, feels like something’s just not right here with how it was handled. Anyone heard any updates or know if they’re looking into the suspect’s circle a bit more?
Hey everyone, I'm diving deep into Patrick Merrill's case and noticed something that's been bugging me. The green Mercury Comet with Vermont plates keeps coming up, right? Does anyone know if the car itself was ever located or if there were any specific details about its condition after the disappearance? I've always wondered if there were any signs of a struggle inside it or if it was just wiped clean. It seems like such a crucial piece to the puzzle, especially considering the acquaintance's sketchy history. Maybe tracking more about that car's whereabouts or its ownership could shed some additional light? Has anyone come across any info about this aspect of the case?
