I’ve been following Eugene Perry Howard’s case closely and wanted to share a thought that keeps nagging at me. Eyewitnesses mentioned the suspect ran toward Houston Street right after the incident. It makes me wonder about the layout of that area and whether it's possible he might have ducked into a nearby alley or used a side street. Did anyone catch a glimpse of someone suspicious in those areas around the time of the crime? Maybe an abandoned mask or discarded clothing could even be hiding in a spot that investigators haven’t yet checked.
The complication here is the dark blue truck with the lights off at the scene. Is it linked, or just a coincidence? It’s unsettling to think the vehicle might have been a part of an escape plan.
I hope the SAPD is still working with the community. If anyone remembers even the smallest detail that seemed off that night, it could help connect the dots.
