Has anyone else been following the aftermath of the conviction in Fabian Zuniga Reyna's case? It's been almost surreal thinking about how a young person's life, like Fabian's, could be cut short so suddenly. Odessa High School seems to have rallied together, but the whole situation must be incredibly tough on his classmates and teachers who knew him well. I've read that they've set up a few memorial events in his honor, which is a beautiful way to keep his spirit alive. I'm curious about the family dynamics of Jose Manuel Cuellar-Vigil, given his mother and sister allegedly tried to smuggle those vape pens to him in jail. It's sad how one tragedy spirals into several others, affecting so many lives. Sending all my thoughts to Fabian's loved ones and hoping the community continues to support each other through this difficult time. What a stark reminder of the changes we need to make to prevent such incidents. Does anyone have thoughts on what more could be done locally to address youth violence?
