I keep thinking about Casey's children and how they'll grow up without him. It's truly awful how a moment of violence can ripple through so many lives, leaving lasting scars. What kind of justice can there ever be for kids who have to face life without their dad? I can't imagine the pain his family must be going through, especially knowing the person they loved deeply was taken in such a brutal way. Casey seems to have touched many lives with his humor and kindness, and I hope his family feels the support of the community as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
