I've been following KayKay's case since I first heard about it, and it just breaks my heart seeing how this tragic incident has devastated her community. I recently came across a discussion about the increase in gun violence in St. Louis around 2015, and it was honestly shocking. I feel like KayKay’s murder reflects so many larger issues at play, and I'm wondering if there's been enough attention given to potential systemic causes. It's been so long without any solid leads or arrests, and I can't imagine how difficult this must be for her family. Has anyone heard about any new initiatives or community programs that aim to address these issues? I think it's crucial that the city not only focuses on solving current cases but also works on preventing future ones. Any thoughts on what more can be done to support this community and bring justice for KayKay and others like her?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the location where Kadesha’s body was found. The alley behind Era Avenue isn’t exactly bustling with activity, especially not early in the morning. It makes me wonder if KayKay was comfortable being there or if she was lured somehow. Did she meet someone she knew, or was it a place she was just passing by? It’s haunting to think she spent her last moments in such a desolate area. My heart goes out to her family, as it’s got to be incredibly tough not knowing what happened that morning. We can only hope that with a little luck or more tips, the truth comes out eventually. If someone out there knows anything—even something that seems small—it could really make a difference. Let’s keep pushing for justice for KayKay. ?
Does anyone else remember hearing about Kadesha Dawson’s case and the lack of security cameras in the area back then? It’s infuriating to think that something as simple as a few well-placed cameras might have made a difference in giving her family the answers they deserve. I was just looking at old news articles and noticed that Era Avenue doesn’t seem to have much surveillance even today. It’s like, how many more tragedies need to happen before more steps are taken to improve public safety? I truly feel for KayKay's family as they continue to wait for justice. They need our support and we should keep the conversation alive until there’s a resolution. If anyone has any thoughts on how we can push for better safety measures or remembers more about this case, please share. Every little bit helps!
