I've been thinking a lot about the impact on JD's father after the incident. Can you imagine returning home to find out your property was involved in such a tragic event? Not only did he see his home riddled with bullet holes, but also had to learn about the loss of Juan Carlos Cruz, a 15-year-old kid whose life ended way too early. My thoughts are with him and all of Juan Carlos's loved ones who are dealing with the unimaginable pain of losing someone so young. It's so hard to come to terms with the violence that affected their lives; it's vital we come together as a community to prevent such senseless tragedies from happening again. ?
