I'm thinking about the unreliable justice system and how Darryl Johnson was out on bond even with all those past charges. It's really concerning how someone with his record was free to be involved in such a tragic event. How many warnings does the system need before taking action to prevent something like this from happening? The fact that Romona's life was cut short by someone who had multiple run-ins with the law is just infuriating. Her children have to grow up without their mom, and it never should have reached this point. I can only hope that this case brings more attention to how dangerous it is to let repeat offenders slip through the cracks. Sending so much strength to Romona's family, especially her kids. No one should have to endure the pain they're going through.
