Is anyone else haunted by the thought of what could have been for Titus? As someone who grew up fascinated by aviation, and seeing a bit of myself in his dream of joining the Air Force, my heart really aches knowing he won't get to live that dream. It's so cruel to think he was just on the cusp of a new chapter in his life, with the world at his feet because of his brilliance and kindness. I also think about how toys like Legos and cars are often the anchors to childhood joy and imagination. To know that this young man, with such a promising path, was so abruptly taken, fills me with a profound sadness. It's hard not to wonder what kinds of Lego structures he might have built in the future or how he would've touched the lives around him with his positive spirit and intelligence. Those left behind should know that many of us out here remember Titus for the light he brought to this world and keep his family in our thoughts.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how much Titus loved “Lilo and Stitch”. It must have really touched his heart, just like he touched the hearts of so many people around him. Those who knew him from Hope Works Christian Academy often talk about his ability to lift others up with his kindness and intelligence. Such a passion for something as simple as a Disney movie shows the depth of his character and the joy he brought into every room he walked into. It’s incredibly moving to see how the community has come together to remember Titus and his mom, Holly, who was such a cherished teacher. I can't even imagine the incredible blend of pride and pain that Titus's dad, Wallace, feels right now. I hope the family continues to find strength in one another and in the memories of Titus’s light. These awful moments make us realize how much impact one life can have, and it seems Titus had such a beautiful and profound one. Has anyone heard about any commemorative events or tributes planned in Fort Worth for Titus and Holly? It would be heartwarming to see how they're being honored.
