I’ve been following the South Padre Island case and wanted to share some thoughts about the aftermath that nobody seems to be discussing: the community's response. It's truly moving to see how the local community has come together to support the families of Odalys, Zulema, and Sandra. There's been a series of memorials and vigils, and it's clear that these women were deeply loved and respected. The local churches have been incredible in providing a safe space for everyone to grieve and remember these beautiful souls. It’s a powerful reminder that even in the darkest times, the strength of community support can offer some comfort. My heart goes out to everyone who is still healing from this tragedy. If anyone here is from the South Padre area, can you share more about how the community has been managing since the verdict? I imagine it’s been incredibly tough to process.
