Is anyone else familiar with the Trenton Lake area and how it might have been back in '91? With Oscar Moe's case, I keep thinking about what kind of conditions might have been present where they found his car. It must have been muddy for the car to get stuck, but I'm curious about how remote or abandoned that area might have been. Were there many people around? Could someone have passed by him or heard him if he called for help? I know search efforts included air and ground teams, but something about finding footprints that lead nowhere really gets to me. It's like he just vanished into thin air after that. Would love to hear any insights from locals or those more familiar with the terrain.

Has anyone looked into the weather conditions on the day Oscar Moe went missing? I was reading through some old reports and noticed that bad weather can sometimes play a huge role in disorienting people, especially in areas like North Dakota where conditions can change rapidly. If he got his car stuck near Trenton Lake, I wonder if there was a sudden change that contributed to him getting lost. It might also explain why his footprints vanished in the swampy terrain – maybe rain or melting snow washed them away? It would be great to see if anyone local remembers what the weather was like back then.
