Has anyone come across any more information about the local searches that were done when Julie Alquisalas King first went missing in Sarasota? I've read bits and pieces here and there, but it seems like the search efforts didn't get much traction early on. It's puzzling considering the suspicious nature of her disappearance. Did they conduct any ground searches in the surrounding areas or question neighbors and local businesses? If her husband Lance didn’t report her missing, I'm curious about how much groundwork was actually done by law enforcement back then. Considering this all unfolded before the Internet era, I'm wondering if that limited the spread and effectiveness of the search efforts. Just trying to wrap my head around how a mother could simply disappear without generating more immediate action. Would love to hear if anyone has insights or additional information.
