I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of surveillance footage in this case. It’s frustrating how technology can be both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it captured the red Dodge Grand Caravan, which provided a lead; on the other hand, the footage didn’t give us a clear view of the shooter's face. I can't imagine how painful it must be for Ernest Franks Jr.'s family to know that the technology was so close yet not enough to provide answers. This brings up a broader issue—should we be pushing for better-quality surveillance in public spaces? It’s a tough balance between privacy and security, but clearer footage could make a huge difference in cases like this. Hoping for justice and strength for Ernest’s loved ones during this difficult time.
