Did anyone else find it incredibly sad that Nitzi's dog was also a victim in this horrible incident? It's such a small detail compared to the loss of human life, but it makes my heart ache for the innocent lives caught in the crossfire. Pets are such a source of comfort, and I'm sure that dog was there for her during what must've been a difficult time. I hope her family and friends can find some solace knowing they're together now and that both are at peace. Does anyone know if the GoFundMe is still active? I imagine this kind of loss must come with so many unexpected expenses, and every little bit of support might help her family right now.

Has anyone else looked into the significance of Nitzi trying to rebuild her life by staying with her mom? It seems like such a crucial step in escaping a toxic situation, and it’s just devastating that this happened when she was trying to make a new start for herself. This makes me think about how some victims of domestic violence need so much support when they decide to leave. I can’t even imagine what Nitzi’s mother is going through right now. Losing a child in such a violent way must be unimaginable.
