I've been following the Elbanna case closely, and something that really strikes me is the failure of the probation system involving Camron Range. It's deeply disturbing that he was supposed to be monitored, yet his ankle bracelet wasn't functioning. How can we feel safe knowing that there's such a gap in the system meant to protect us? ? Elbanna's life was taken in such a senseless way, and it's painful to think that it might have been preventable if the system had worked like it’s supposed to. I can’t imagine the pain his family is going through, especially knowing this aspect. It really makes you think about how these monitoring systems are being managed and why they're not being prioritized to avoid tragedies like this. This case has definitely highlighted a critical area that needs attention, and I hope it leads to meaningful change. Sending thoughts to the Elbanna family during this incredibly difficult time. ?
