Has anyone else been following the court proceedings for Daniel Trevino Hernandez? I can't believe he finally pleaded guilty. I'm relieved that there might be some justice for Chad Vess and his family, but knowing what they had to go through these past few years is truly gut-wrenching. Waiting for the sentencing must feel like an eternity for them. It's so hard to fathom how someone could take away such a vibrant life just like that. Sending love and strength to Chad's family during this time. Let's hope they find some peace in the upcoming months.

It's been a while since I've seen a case hit the hearts of a small town like the tragic loss of Chad Vess. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how a community can continue to heal from such a sudden and senseless act of violence. Knowing that Hernandez has now pleaded guilty gives some sort of resolution, but it certainly doesn't erase the pain and emptiness Chad's loved ones are feeling. I've been thinking a lot about his children and grandchildren, particularly how they navigate life without their dad and grandpa. It must be incredibly difficult for them, especially when milestones in life come around without him there to share in their joy and achievements. My heart truly goes out to Chad's family, and I hope they are finding strength and support from the community around them. Boyd sounds like one of those towns where everyone knows everyone, and Chad must have been such a big part of that fabric with the way folks talk about him. It's evident he's missed deeply. If anyone has insights into how the family is doing, or how the community continues to support them, it would be heartening to hear. We may not all be in Boyd, but there are so many of us here online holding space for Chad's family and following along in spirit.

I’ve been following the case of Chad Allan Vess closely, and my thoughts go out to his grieving family and community. One thing I keep wondering about is the role of community support during such a difficult time. It's clear that Chad was deeply loved, evidenced by his large family and the heartfelt tributes shared by those around him. Has anyone from the Boyd area heard about any local community efforts or tributes being organized in his memory since Hernandez's guilty plea? It seems like coming together as a community could really help all those affected by this tragedy begin the healing process. Seeing how locals choose to remember Chad could also be a testament to the positive impact he had on those around him. If anyone has details or updates on this, please share.
