Just stumbled upon Richard Kenneth Morgan's case and noticed something odd that I haven't seen discussed much—his possible connection to New Mexico. It’s intriguing that there’s evidence he could’ve been attending classes at the University of New Mexico a year after he disappeared. I mean, if he truly had a breakdown and sent that note to his ex-wife, how does he then turn around and enroll in college courses? It seems like such a drastic shift. Could he have started a new life or was he just trying to occupy his mind with schoolwork? And then the Cedar Crest job years later adds another layer. Was anyone ever able to confirm if he actually worked there? This case just keeps getting more mysterious the more you look into it. Would love to hear other theories or anything new people might know about his time in New Mexico.
Was anyone around Boulder in the early '90s and remembers anything unusual about the area around April 1993? I've been reading up on Richard Kenneth Morgan's case, and while the circumstances of his disappearance point towards a tragic outcome, I'm intrigued by the possibilities that he was spotted in New Mexico years later. Could it be a case of mistaken identity, or did he manage to start anew without leaving much evidence? People sometimes slip through the cracks, but if anyone here happened to know him or even passed through that area, any small detail might help track the truth.
Has anyone looked into the possibility of Richard maybe living off the grid or with a community that helps folks struggling with mental health? The timeline with the classes in New Mexico and work in Cedar Crest years later suggests he could have started rebuilding his life, perhaps with some anonymity. I wonder if there's been any outreach to such communities or mental health organizations in that area to gather more info. Maybe his focus shifted from what he left behind to finding a new way to cope and live. Thoughts?
