I've been following the Maldonado case, and there's something that's really troubling me. It's incredibly upsetting to learn about the role family can play in these situations. In this case, you have Monica Acosta, a mother who not only hindered the investigation but allegedly helped in covering up the crime. It's so tough to wrap my head around this.
I can't imagine what Anthony's family is going through, not just with their loss but finding out that there was this level of involvement from Miranda's mother. It's sad to think about how desperate or misguided someone must be to help cover up such a horrific act. I hope justice is served and this never happens to anyone else.
