Hi everyone, I can't stop thinking about the role of community involvement in cases like the tragic shooting of Leroy Butts and Tasia Gardner. It's terrifying to think that someone could be capable of such violence in what are supposed to be the most ordinary, safe spaces in our lives. It breaks my heart to see how this has affected the neighborhood. People should feel secure just pulling up in front of their homes, yet here we are. It's encouraging that Crime Stoppers is offering a reward, and I'm hoping it motivates someone to come forward with information. It could be the key to cracking this case. I've been reading a lot about how sometimes people feel uncomfortable or scared to speak up, but with options for anonymous tips, I hope someone finds the courage. My thoughts are with the families of both Leroy and Tasia. I can't imagine the pain they're going through. It's a reminder of how crucial it is to build a sense of responsibility and watchfulness in our communities. Let's hope justice is served soon. Stay safe, everyone.
